 The
Nipissing Naturalists Club has two ways that you can report any unusual
bird sightings. One is by emailing the message to a group contact list.
This may be phased out in favour of a Yahoo Group which does
the same thing but more. Another Yahoo Group will be a discussion
group on any nature related topic.We need a phone system for the bird hotline that works. If anybody has any ideas let us know. |

Email: Each person sets up their own group contact list. When you see a bird that the rest of the group would be interested in, you email all of the details of the sighting to the group. And likewise, others will email you about their sightings. Call Angela at 594-2745 or welcome@onlink.net to get complete instructions on how to set up your group mail and to get the Bird Hotline email list. Yahoo Group "nipnathotline": Go to groups.yahoo.com/group/nipnathotline/ to sign up. Brent Turcotte will approve your membership probably within a day. You do not need to set up a contact list. To post a message simply type nipnathotline@yahoogroups.com in the "TO" field of any email message or post from the website. Yahoo Group "nipnats": Go to groups.yahoo.com/group/nipnats/ to sign up. This group is for any nature related topics. As with any Yahoo Group you can upload photos, files, events and more. The more people that participate in "nipnats" the more interesting a website and email discussion group it will be to visit.
